Scouts and Guides

Shah Satnam Ji Girls’ school, Sirsa has adopted Scouts and Guides on 7 Nov. 2020 that has become an indispensable part of co-curricular activities. The aim of Scouting and Guiding is four fold. The first is the formation of character; the second is the formation of sound health habits. The third is the training in the handicraft and the acquiring of useful skills and the service efficiently. The pursuit of this aim leads to the development of good citizenship among boys and girls. It insists a sense of responsibility and trustworthiness that affords opportunities for developing initiative and leadership and promotes self-control.
A variety of camps and seminars are organized at regular intervals for the overall development of students by the National Scouts and Guide Association of India around the nation. The students are encouraged to take part in social welfare works like blood donation, tree plantation, drug de-addiction etc. All the international days like The Earth Day, Thinking Day, and World Environment day etc. are celebrated with great zeal to make the students apprehend the importance of social, emotional, physical and spiritual aspects of life.
